Summary: Diagram represents 2 parcels of land parts of Stanton Estate in the parish of Saint Thomas. They were several years ago sold in small lots to numerous persons and now comprise the villages of Dumfries and Elgin Town. Dumfries is situated at the southern extremity of Staton and contains 37 acres and Elgin town is situated on the North-Western side of the property and contains 28 3/4 acres.
