Contributor(s): Publication details: 1801Summary: Diagram represents within the parcel circumscribed with red the form and boundaries of Belle Vue Plantation in the parish of Port Royal; the property of Captain Henry Kent R.N: and formerly that of Mrs. F. Strupar. It contains by resurvey the line AB next to Mount Elizabeth is clearly defined by old fences and by the extent to which each party has planted, cultivated and gathered coffee for a period extending without intermission over more than thirty years and beyond which line, neither has hitherto claimed any right. A claim however has now been set up by Mr John Smith on the part of Mr Darrell to a line in the direction AC on the ground that such was the direction in which the line was run in 1801 by an order of the Grand Court, in the ejectment case "Elkins versus Salt"....(Please see shelf list for full details)
