Diagram represents the outlines of Torrington Castle Plantation situated in the parish of St. Elizabeth, the property of Hon. William Rowe and is composed of the following patents. John Rowe 300 acres; Cornelius Christian 300 acres; Sampson Barber 300 acres and part of Christian and Cornelius Christian of about 440 acres, making together 1040 acres bounded easterly by lands patented by Benjamin Banton and Thomas Banton, southerly by John Vafsall and northerly by John Greaves Jr. and Henry Gayle and northeasternly by William Mullings. 1873
