The journal details Master Tommy's vist to Jamaica where he arrived on February 15, 1901, (f.7) and remained until March 12, 1901. During the time he visited the places in and around Kingston and Port Royal, Port Henderson, Spanish Town and Port Antonio. Some of the more prominent places mentioned in the journal include: 1) Vist. 2) Livingstons of Newmark. p.2. 3) Mico College for coloured students. p.15. 4) Livingston family. 5) Difference of Kingston in 1901 and thirty-six years earlier. p.46 ss. 6) History of railways in Jamaica. passim. e.g. p.76. There are two copies of the book one of which was bequeathed by Sir Noel B. Livingston in 1954.
