Bill Rogers real name is Augustus Hinds. He was Shanto's originator and the first performer over Radio Station VRY in 1929. A music icon. Rogers, a music pioneer, was the first promoter to put traditional "Cumfa Dance" on stage and to attempt to take Trinidad Carnival to Guyana.
