Nuttall spent a number of years in Jamaica and in 1880, he was ordained Bishop of Jamaica, and in 1897 he was chosen as the first Archbishop of the West Indies.The correspondences consist of 75 letters and 6 envelopes.They contain congratulatory messages, confirmation, ordination, reference questions, acquisition of materials and administrative matters and circulars.
