Summary: This is a map of St. Ann's Bay Jamaica. It was surveyed by John Leard and Stephen Seymour in 1790. The remark on the maps states " the entrance into this Bay is not more than 46 Fathoms wide for large ships, and shoals from 11 to 4 Fathoms suddenly on each side-The leading Mark is to open the Barrack gate to the West of the House below it, but not to open the lower window next East of the gate.
