This poster was done to highlight the final steps to independence by means of images. On this poster are three (3) photographs showing Premier Norman Manley addressing the House of Representatives in session at Headquarters House, Kingston, 1959, an article from the Gleaner entitled "Self-Rule Here Today" and the Governor reading the self-government proclamation at Victoria Park, Kingston, in July 1959.
