Summary: This advertising programme was used to recruit volunteers for a project that wanted to find out what it was like growing up in the 1950s and 1960s. The volunteers would receive training and practical experience in conducting oral history interviews, researching and collating material, garment construction & design, photographic, music and film archiving. Participants even had the opportunity to contribute to the production of a documentary and a book about the project.
