The book spoke about his active and successful participant in the political and social development of Jamaica and the Caribbean from the mid 1950s in to the early 2000s. Included in the programme are brief information about the University of the West Indies Press, the book and reviews on the book from prominent Jamaicans, which included the Governor General of Jamaica Professor Sir Kenneth Hall, Professor Verene Shepherd and the former Chancellor of the University of the West Indies Sir George Alleyne.
