Publication details: 1877Summary: Diagram represents two parcels of land part of Stantaon Estate in the parish of St. Thomas. They were several years ago sold in small lots to numerous persons and now comprise the villages of Dumfries and Elgin Town. Dumfries is situated at the southern extremity of Stanton and contains 37 acres and Elgin Town is situated on the north western side of the property and contains 28 3/4 acres.
