Publication details: 1794Summary: The above diagram represents a run of land in the parish of Trelawny patented by Charles Allen, containing 46 acres, 2 roods and 10 perches exclusive of a small piece marked (D) in the possession of Dr. Thomas Pepper Thompson.That part marked (A) represents 10 acres, which was conveyed by Mr. Charles Begbie to Mr. Charles McClare: and that part marked B was by a deed of gift conveyed by said Charles Begbie to Susanna Evans; which if laid off according to the plat annexed to the said deed, will contain no more than 30 acres, 2 roods and 10 perches (although expressed by the plat and deed, to contain 35 acres), leaving 6 acres to the westward for the heirs or Legatee of the said Charles Begbie,marked C & E. If 35 acres are laid off to Susanna Evans and no respect had to the plat which was annexed to the Deed and made by a person not qualified to act as a surveyor of Lands, there will remain 1 acre, 2 roods and 10 perches, distinguished above by the letter E.
