Profile with host Ian Boyne speaking with guest Miss Laura Johnson Author, Sergent 1st Class Soldier in US Army about one of her three books she has written called "Born a sufferer-born in Dunkirk" along with her passion for writing and where it all began. She said it began at a very early age where she started writing sketch characters and short stories for these characters around the age of nine years or ten years; from there she started writing poetry and it just build from there into today. Miss Johnson discussed her growing up condition in Dunkirk, her family life along with her circumstances; at age ten years her father who was living in the US got visas and send for all of them to live in the States she looked at life in the US going to school and just adjusting to a different life. They spoke about Miss Johnson joining the US Army at the age of twenty years, being away from her home, family and the training as well as her experiences of being in Iraq she used her writing as a means of letting out her frustrations and just getting by day by day.
