Three maps that were composed based on an underwater survey by E.A. Link in 1956 and additional data from 1959 link National Geographic Smithsonian expedition and other sources. Oriented with maps depicting the original city and records of post-earthquake surveys found in London. Phillip Morris Map dated 1827 weas found inaccurate. Cannon shown at Fort James was raised in 1956. Prepared especially for the National Geographic Society by P.V.H. Weems June - Aug 1959.
