AMITY HALL ESTATE

AMITY HALL ESTATE - 1857

Hordley Estate

Diagram shows the red lines marked a,b,c,d,e,f and g,h,i,j, representing a portion of the boundary lines between Amity Hall and Hordley Estates in the parish of St. Thomas. The parcel shaded green and marked A, containing 15 acres, is claimed by Amity Hall under a survey of Edgar and Farquharsons in 1775, one of Major Pechon's in 1000, one of McGeachy and griffiths in 1849, and one of M.I. Griffiths in 1854, showing a possession of 82 years. A claim is asserted to the same piece of land by Hordley, but no plan or document of any discription can be produced to support it.
